THE MIDLANDS

The Midlands occupy the central heart of the Ittatsoo Bay lands and rise from protected wetlands to the surrounding ridges. A wide diversity of ecosystems characterize the Midlands including meadows, creeks, wetlands and old growth forests. The rezoning of the Midlands into 16 five acre lots was approved by the ACRD in March, 2014.

THE MOORS

The Moors – the twin marshes in the Midlands – are unlike any other ecosystem at Ittatsoo Bay. Occupying the base of small valleys with creeks that drain west to the main stem of Ittatsoo Creek, The Moors store vast quantities of pure water.  A test well has been drilled on Lot 4, Moors Mountain, which produces 50 gallons of water per minute. Hydrological studies of the entire site are available to qualified buyers.

WATER ACCESS

All Ittatsoo Bay land owners have exclusive use of the private marine access boat and kayak ramp at Hunt Bay, one of the only protected coves on the west side of Barkley Sound.
